Christmas in Seattle

1.07.2014

We had our very first Wood Christmas together in Seattle this year! We created lots of memories, ate endless amounts of clam chowder, and well since it was a Wood Christmas, you can only imagine how much cheese we consumed.

Landon's family is all up in Canada, but we met in Seattle at a good family friend's home, the DeMeesters.  They were generous enough to let us tag along with their family's traditions and celebrations.  There were 21 people who slept at their house on Christmas Eve. which ended up with the biggest Christmas morning celebration I've ever experienced! It took a good 2.5 hrs. to open up all of the presents and we ended the morning with delicious twice-baked french toast... yes it was delicious and yes I am thinking of posting the recipe on here. :)

Seattle has always been one of my favorite cities and having all of these memories to put with it makes me love it even more! A huge thanks to the DeMeesters and I can't wait until we can visit next time! It was such a special Christmas.
