Family Photo Special!

This ad pretty much says it all! I have a family photo special for only $150! I was going to raise my prices for this year but I really don't want to go any higher for something as special as family pictures, I really just want everyone to be able to afford it... but ...after sitting in so much California traffic last year driving from one shoot to the other, it just got ridiculous with gas... so I have a travel fee of $20 if you are further than 30 miles from Claremont (which unfortunately includes the beach).  I hate being finicky, but it will give me peace of mind when I'm driving back in 3 hours of traffic next time :)

Also, I'm starting a new job so I have limited availability so email me quickly!! I might set up a mini shoot for families so they can make it quick and pay less, if I get enough interests in that I will post something up later on during the season!

This is a stop motion video I put together for my sister to announce her new exciting pregnancy!  Stop motion means it's TONS of pictures put together to make it look/feel like a video.  My sister had a few ideas she wanted to include in the video and as she was dying/cutting my hair... we decided to try something out, and here it is! It was super fun and is so special to me because these are my cutie niece and nephew, my "babies" until I have my own.  Congrats again Katie!!

My friend had her sweet baby girl and I am seriously dying at how cute she is.  Taking and editing these pictures made me want a baby.... yesterday.

Erica & Andrew - LA/Los Angeles Wedding Photographer

I had the opportunity to shoot a very beautiful spring wedding a few weeks ago.  Erica and Andrew were such a joy to be with and being with these lovebirds made me want to get married all over again!! Then again, being at any wedding always wants me to get married all over again!!

Just Not Quite Yet...

Christmas is just not over quite yet... Mr. Elfy hasn't left my blog, so I thought I could slip these few Christmas photos in still.  I took these Thanksgiving afternoon, which is why I completely forgot about them. I was going to do mini Christmas shoots with lots of cute babies, until I felt really overwhelmed and realized that this year might just have to wait until next (sorry to all you mommas out there!! Next year will be bigger and better than this!) :)  So until then, Savanna has stolen the show yet again and will forever be my little model!! Merry late Christmas!!

Southern California Photographer

Hey there all you Southern California mommas!! I have started to book my days off for family shoots so if you'd like a pretty picture for your Christmas card, email me!  And if you can't afford or don't necessarily need any family pictures done at this time I am offering mini shoots for your babies!  I am hand-making all my backdrops... so they will definitely be fun... and will be posting a preview of them in a couple weeks!  I will only have a few days scheduled off for the mini shoots so email me quickly so you can get the time slot you want.  I am excited to see your little ones in their costumes and especially excited to take some cute Christmas photos of them in our winter wonderland set!

The Babes

Until I have my own... these will be my babies.  I love them so much and want to give them kisses every second I'm with them... and do every other second.  We had a photo shoot mayday with these kiddos and collectively took these in 30 minutes? 5 minutes per boy + 10 minutes for the little lady... the quickest yet the most rewarding photo shoot I've done...mainly because I'm one proud auntie! I will be posting more for their momma's to drool over on my Facebook page in a few, so keep an eye out!

In other aspects of life, it's been crazy over here... hence the absence from this blog... which rarely happens for me.  I've been doing a lot of work for Ello There stationary shop, editing my creative brains out for EPlove, editing my own client's photos, making meals for my med student, and well, somehow finally finding time to write on this thing at 3am.  I miss being a night owl.

Bri: A Kick-off to Summer

 This is Bri and this is Georgia, perfect complements of each other wouldn't you agree?  I've been wanting to take photos out in this beautiful Georgian atmosphere but since I still am so new here and not here for that much longer, I have yet to meet a lot of new friends... so don't be surprised if Bri keeps popping up on here!  This was a great way to kick off the first day of summer, we also have lots of couple plans of floating down the Chattahoochee River, peach-picking, BBQs, tin-foil dinners and everything else summer related!

Ps. Her face really is that perfect, I did no photoshopping at all! I kept telling her that the southern humidity makes her skin look like glowing porcelain... my new nickname for her is Snow White :)
