Mixology Workshop for Designlovefest

I am so horribly behind on posting! I've been extremely busy with work and my photography business that I don't have as much time as I would want to keep this little space updated. But this blog is my baby, so I here it goes again!

Well I'll start back up with this beautiful workshop I photographed for Designlovefest in the beginning of June.  It was held at The Fig House, known for its vibrant interior and decor (a photographer's dream), and it was all about cocktails...which is funny because I don't drink! These workshops Bri puts on are always spot on and so fun for me to photograph!

Shaum Family - by Brittany Wood

Isn't this the sweetest family? Little Pierson was so good throughout the shoot, and was smiling at all the right moments.  While I was up in Utah for a wedding, I was able to make it over to the Shaum's in the morning to capture these sweet family photos. I have soo many other photos that I love, and will post more over on my Facebook page!

Lindsey & Andy's Wedding - LA Wedding Photographer

I've been busy these last couple months with weddings and I've been loving it!  After each wedding I photograph, I leave the night filled with so much love, it's like watching the best chick flick over and over again, really it's the best.

Lindsey and Andy make such a beautiful couple, and their wedding was so much fun to photograph.

Designlovefest Balloon Fest

It is always an inspiring, colorful, fun time when I'm in Bri's Designlovefest studio.  This was a fun shoot I photographed featuring painted balloons by Jesi Haack Designs. Don't you wish your house can be filled with these balloons all the time?!

Creating the Perfect Pairing

I don't have to tell any of you, but a girl's best friend is chocolate. Nothing puts me in a better mood than Ghirardelli's Intense Dark chocolate bars paired with some delicious fresh fruit. My all time perfect pairing is rich dark chocolate with the contrast of fresh, sweet strawberries. Mmm. 

And I apologize greatly for starting any chocolate craving for anyone reading this post, I understand your pain and not only did I eat an entire bar during the photo shoot, I then had to open another bar for the editing afterwards, it made for quite the indulgent day :) 

Nothing beats the indulgent moments when its just me and a bar of dark chocolate after those long days photographing (especially the times when I shoot weddings...standing for 10-hrs is killer)! Ghirardelli is my go to chocolate and as long as I add some fresh fruit to it, I don't even feel guilty about it one bit.

Proof Eyewear Shoot

I've been working with a lot of companies lately shooting their products which has been so fun and different for me.  This particular shoot was for PROOF | Eyewear.  I came up with the creative direction with this shoot and for this one I wanted something bright and summery to contrast with the dark shades.
