okay so i will slowly be posting up the rest of my california photos...

and it's slowly making me more and more homesick for my babies.

they all are my best friends and i have skyped with them everyday since we've left,

maybe i'm a little over-the-top but they just make me so happy which makes me miss them so much.

anyways, after we had lunch together we took the little ones to feed the ducks.

i loved watching them get SO excited about the ducks and especially the baby ones.

the only stressor in this situation was brady. he got so intense with throwing the bread

that he almost fell in the water a few times...and we all know that usually the water is

disgusting and dirty so that then led to one of us holding his shirt from behind as he threw

the bread and just yelling at him when he would run quickly to the water. other than that, it was great! :)

landon fed the ducks out of his hand, which kinda creeps me out... but hey, the kids loved it!

+ certificates.&.cupcakes

yesterday landon & i were officially married, we finally got our printed Marriage Certificate!!

and maybe some of you are thinking... uh didn't you get married in November? it's been 6 months!

well yes, we had some complications, to make the long story short... the man who married us

wrote down the wrong date on our license, and maybe that wouldn't be too big of a deal, BUT

landon was in the process of filing for permanent residency... and anything potentially sketchy

could not work in our favor. so we filled out papers and waited patiently and we finally have

the certificate and we finally sent in his immigration papers! YAY!

and this mini novel all leads up to:

the fact that we had to go to downtown Riverside to get our certificate, which then led to

getting tasty cupcakes at Casey's Cupcakes and then walking around beautiful Mission Inn.

which definitely means lots of photos!

So about Casey's Cupcakes:

my sister-in-law & brother came across this cute shop and found out that they won Cupcake Wars... which is one of my many favorite Food Network shows. so i knew that it was a necessity to go try a cupcake! everything was perfect and pink and just OH SO CUTE!

we bought six of them for my family and we all got to try a little of each one. so good!

after our cupcake run we walked around Mission Inn... and since oranges are known from

coming from California, of course there is going to be an orange tree in the middle of the

shopping center. landon got so excited that he ran up and got one!

after our time spent in Riverside, we drove down and met my mother for lunch on her break

and then took the kids to feed the ducks! which is obviously saved for my next post! :)

okay so i'm back for the night!

i thought i'd give you all a lil sneak peek of our fun here in california.

today we went to the pool!!

with 3 brand new babies, 3 toddlers, 3 mothers, and landon + me. whew it was fun!

we decided to walk up the HUGE, STEEP hill, to help the new mothers walk off their baby

weight. i'm pretty sure we all lost five pounds with the wicked hot weather and steep long walk!!

the mothers all had double strollers and landon & i were the switch-off-crew for pushing.

we made it, and it was well worth it!

i thought i'd start off the photos with diva savi. she didn't really go in the water, she's obviously

just a bathing beauty. with sunglasses on, toes in the water, and m&m's for a treat... she

obviously knows how to live.

here is a glimpse of the steep hill... heather was on a roll and way ahead of us all!
