Pomelo

It's been a slow week for me and I haven't really been outside for over a week... not because I'm lazy, but because I'm still sick!  So I decided to take the babes out on a leisurely stroll with a camera in hand wearing baggy sweatpants, totally unprepared for what was ahead of me.  After our first street I was feeling overly confident, forgetting that I was still sick and that I'm pushing 20 pounds in very warm weather.
So long story short, I decided to turn our leisurely stroll to a visit at the park, I took the wrong steep, hilly road to the park, back tracked, and found myself slowly climbing up the steepest, slant-iest street sweating, thirsty, out of breath, with rolled up sweats to my thighs.  I faced the fact that I looked ridiculous and purposely dodged eye contact with the cars passing me.  Thankfully we made it to the park and the kids loved it.  Savanna came up to me every 5 minutes, hugged me, and told me how much she loved me; I think she secretly knew how tiring that walk was for me.  Tomorrow my other two nephews are coming over to play with us at the park! I love love living with family :)
