The start of fall always gets me in the mood to bake, bake, bake, and bake some more. It's a very unhealthy time, yet a very joyous time as well. Being happy beats being healthy right? Umm maybe not, but lets pretend. This week was homemade baked donuts... chocolate glazed & cinnamon sugar to be exact. It was a simple recipe but of course took some time to let the dough rise, so if you're going to attempt this, give yourself a bit of time. I used this recipe for the doughnuts and this recipe for the chocolate glaze. They were a fun little treat to make and eat but to be honest... next time I will definitely have to make them the real way!
