Our big road trip is nigh and it will be here sooner than we know it!! Since my husband is from Canada we will be making our way up to BC for the first half of our summer break.  These pictures are from our trip up the west coast 2 years ago.  I have every hour pretty much planned out since we will be rushed on time.  We are making stops in:

San Francisco,
Redlands National Park,
Portland,
Seattle,
& Vancouver, BC.

If you have any foodie suggestions in these cities please send me over an email or comment!  We, especially me, are foodies and am always looking for the best local spots to hit up. And don't worry about suggesting the clam chowder in San Fran... it's probably one of my fav things on this planet.

I don't know which way you are going, but if you are taking the coastal way and are on the 101 you will drive through San Luis Obispo. It is one hour north of Santa Barbra and on the way to San Fran. There is a place downtown SLO and it is called Firestone Grill. It has the best tri tip sandwiches, and fries. It is definitely worth the stop. Let me know if you need more details!

Those misty tree shots are amazing!! Wow, you are seriously amazing.

As for food recommendations in San Francisco, if you're into the whole Raw/Vegan thing, Cafe Gratitude is a good one. I'm not a raw foodie or Vegan but it's still kind of fun to experience a little bit of it, you know?
Also there's an underwater restaurant at Forbes island that I actually haven't ever eaten at (it's a major touristy location and I've heard it's expensive) but dude it's UNDERWATER. So I'm still mentioning it anyways. haha

Also I don't know if you've ever heard of the blog Say Yes to Hoboken but she lives in SF and has a feature called Sites & Bites where she highlights some of her favorite places in the city. Here's the link to that..

Have such a fun time!!
