Our good friends Jon & Jennelle just barely moved to Portland so it was perfect for us to stop by and visit! They were such great hosts and it felt like heaven to finally shower and sleep under a roof. We spent all Sunday night with them and enjoyed Voo Doo Donuts Monday morning. Voo Doo Donuts has been all over Food Network and they were such a treat! They had such funky flavors there that it was fun to choose a few donuts to try. My favorite was the Memphis Mania, a banana fritter topped with chocolate, peanut butter, and chocolate chips. We were completely sugared out by the end of it and tried to balance it out with fresh fruit from the farmers market just around the corner. Thanks so much Jon & Jennelle, Portland was so awesome and we will definitely be back for another visit!!
